another good one is (www.davidpaulgreen.com/tumol.html) its better than the above cause of the useful star charts, its makes finding them a bit easier if your a beginner.

theres a program called dark adapted that lets you change your gamma to complete red, so you can use your laptop to use sky maps and log your findings, without blinding your self.
